Unique Veils
I found an interesting website through Twitter. This business makes “bird cage veils”. I was unsure of what that meant so I went to their site http://www.tessakim.com/Hair_Adornments.html. These veils seem so vintage to me. I like the idea of a veil that isn’t covering the dress because it is so long. Maybe these veils will inspire a whole theme of your wedding. Oh, and they also have hair adornments for the bridal party.

Affordable Wedding Dress
When I am shopping for just normal clothes, to spend even $100 on an outfit seems expensive. And that’s for an outfit that will be worn many, many times. So why on earth would I spend $1000 (or more) on a dress to be worn only 1 time? I refused.
I went to David’s Bridal. Dresses I liked were all around $600-$700, but I still thought that was too expensive.
Then I went to Alfred Angelo in Huntington Beach, CA. There normal dresses are in the same price range as David’s Bridal. However, their clearance is much better than Davids. The dresses still looked like wedding dresses, not like trash. As soon as I put on my dress, I knew it was “the one”. It was $280. Amazingly enough, it fit nearly perfect. The only absolute alteration that needed to be done was to fix the buttons on the halter. That’s it. And it was a little dirty at the hem so I did get it cleaned prior to the wedding. Somehow, I didn’t get charged for the tax on the dress either. So I walked out the door (didn’t have to wait 5 months) with my wedding dress for under $300. I was thrilled.
So maybe you’ll find a pretty dress for less is you try the clearance at Alfred Angelo. They have several locations. Hopefully one is near you. www.alfredangelo.com
