Picture Perfect Proposal
My friend has the most romantic husband. He started off as the most romantic boyfriend. One day he showed her a photo album. As she looked at each photo, she was reminded of their growing relationship. Pictures from their first date. Pictures of them with family. Pictures of them together at their favorite beach. The last picture was of a beautiful antique diamond ring. She stared at the photo with a puzzled look on his face. When she looked up at him, she realized he had gotten down on one knee. He had the box open with the antique ring. “Will you marry me?” So sweet! Can you even imagine how much she treasures that photo album now?

Grand Proposal
My friend submitted this to me. She thought it might be nice for those near the wedding stage for their relationship to read.
My (now) husband’s wedding proposal read like a well written novel… We had been dating for about 6 months, when we decided to go with some friends and family on a day trip to the grand canyon. He had been there several times as a child but I had not had the opportunity. We loaded up before the sun rose and began our 6 hour caravan. We arrived at about 10am. We ate brunch and started checking things out. It was awesome! As sunset approached we stood near a very large tree overlooking a spectacular picture perfect view of the purple and red canyon. My husband got down on one knee as the sun shone its last glow of red,purple, and orange, and he said…”Just as the sun brings such beauty and joy to those privileged enough to view it rising and setting; I would be so privileged and it would bring me the greatest joy to see your beauty as you awake and sleep next to me for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?” It was so romantic and wonderful being able to share it with those closest to us.
